Lynne Brown

Lynne Brown believes courage is the key to personal and organizational transformation. Her mission is to inspire people to break through limiting beliefs and to create courageous lives and healthy cultures. She is the host of the GRITTY women. GRITTY Teacher & Gritty Girl podcasts on apple, spotify & more. During her twenty-five years of leadership in education and business, she saw and experienced the hold limiting beliefs had on her own life and in the organizations she served. Refusing to participate in the status quo, she committed her life to crashing through the barriers to positively impact the lives of thousands of students through her work as a counselor, teacher, and top performer with the John Maxwell Team and the JMT Global Youth Initiative. Realizing that organizations frequently settle for ‘good enough’, she began work with leaders and employees to engage in the fierce, powerful, and courageous conversations that lead to the bold actions necessary to leap forward to truly remarkable performance and impact. Her work is guided by quotes from her inspirational mentors: “Belief drives behavior.” – Paul Martinelli “Better is the enemy of Best” – John Maxwell. She was also a John Maxwell Team 2020 Culture Award Nominee: Exceeding Expectations. Lynne continues to impact the lives of others through workshops, speaking, and coaching. She currently works with technology corporations, healthcare organizations, schools, chambers of commerce, juvenile justice agencies, businesses, and individuals. She was the Top performer with the John Maxwell Team’s ‘Global Youth Initiative’ during which her team impacted the lives of over 4,000 students across the world in 2017-2018. Lynne received the John Maxwell Team’s ‘Intentional Living Culture Award’ in 2018 where she shared the stage with John Maxwell and shared the story of how she connected her community to a cause: Raising $20,000 in one day for a 21-year-old woman facing formidable medical expenses following an automobile accident. Lynne truly loves the work she does and believes every person has a purpose, sometimes they need encouragement to find their true purpose.
