Gaurav Mishra, M.D, M.B.A

Chief Behavioral health officer / Child, Adolescent and Adult psychiatrist

Dr. Mishra has been practicing community-based psychiatry along the US Mexico border in Imperial and San Diego County since 2014. He is trained and board-certified in Child & Adolescent Psychiatry, Adult Psychiatry and Community Psychiatry.

Post his community psychiatry training he continues to work on many community collaborations both as a Psychiatrist and as Voluntary Assistant Clinical Professor of Psychiatry at UC San Diego. Dr. Mishra is involved in direct patient care and overseeing a large department at an FQHC where he is working to better serve the significant need in the region. Dr. Mishra has implemented several federal grants in the communities to care for a very underserved population.

He enjoys teaching medical students and residents in the community setting. He enjoys spending time with his 2 young boys and hiking.
